Title: " Tailings of
Another Season "
Sizes: 15.8" x 40"
Here in the
heart of wine country life changes with the seasons.
Leaves change to yellow, gold and red, and then the
harvest is over. All that is left behind becomes compost
for another season’s bounty. Even here nature takes over
breaking down the left over grapes into rich nutrients
for next year’s harvest. Nature has all the details
worked out down to the molecular level for nitrogen to
be returned back into the soil. With more and more
artificial fertilizers being used, the run off from this
nitrogen creates algae blooms that choke rivers and
change the acidity levels which interfere with nature’s
method of the processing of God’s creations. It is up to
us to live in harmony with nature—using what we already
know to preserve the beauty of the world.
