Corn is one of the best foods around and the Incas, Mayans, and the Aztecs based their whole food chain on corn and were very healthy. Corn is full of powerful antioxidants, and corn has short chain fatty acids to fight cancer, lots of fiber for good probiotics, good fats for the body, contains protein, prevents macular degeneration, lowers blood pressure, lowers blood sugar, stops viruses, and it’s low in calories. And eating corn is linked to long life, plus the dark colored corns have more antioxidants, and it’s a gluten and cholesterol free food. Corn has lots of B vitamins, and trace minerals, and it’s a full spectrum food when used with beans.
