Our senses are in complete control over our lives, they run the show so to speak, and can create havoc in our lives if we allow them to take over. But how do we take back our lives?
The senses control our outer world and the more we are consumed with our outworld the more our senses play havoc with our life… and start to make us feel agitated, upset, full of anger, and we lose peace of mind. Our total sensory control also brings about pride, greed, hatred, and anxiety… all of which need to be curbed.
The only answer is to disconnect as much as possible from the outer world and find true happiness within. And the only way we can do that is through going inward to connect with Great Spirit in meditation. Meditation helps us to live a balanced life, feel good, and wake up refreshed and full of energy every single day. There is nothing in the outer world that will accomplish any of this.
When we meditate we finally understand we have 7 areas of our life that need to be cared for and balanced daily. We have our mind, body, spirit, relationships, social life, financial life, and our core beliefs. Thus we learn through meditation to live a balanced life that if fulfilled and centered.
Living a balanced life allows us to be unfettered by the ups and downs of life. If we lose or win, have great changes in our life, or if we are defeated we are not affected by any of this. We see everything as important… but nothing as super important so we take everything in stride and love life in general.
To sit in silence with our eyes closed, too breathe in and out, and concentrate on our breathing seems simple, yet it takes practice and willpower. And with practice, small changes start to take place in our lives… and soon we start feeling great every single day.
There is nothing else that works like meditation, not even medications, not even herbs, not even counseling, nothing will make a person feel more relaxed, more centered, and unfettered by life… then just putting in the time every single day to meditate every morning and evening. The United States Armed Forces are now using meditation for the men and women who come back from war who have “Post Traumatic Stress Disorder” and meditation is the only thing that works long term without side effects. And meditation has a very long track record of being used for thousands of years with great success.
