It says in “The Dhammapada” Buddhist Text: Conquer the angry man by love. Conquer the ill-natured man by goodness. Conquer the miser with generosity. Conquer the liar with truth.
In the Dhammapada it says: All conditioned things are transitory. When one understands this with wisdom, then he is disgusted with suffering. This is the path to purity.
In the Dhammapada it says: Speak the truth, do not yield to anger; give, if thou art asked for little; by these three steps thou wilt go near the gods.
