Barley and spelt are related to wheat so they should be taken out of your diet too, grains in general for some people can cause inflammation. Also stay away from soda, alcohol, fast food, processed food, artificial colors, unnecessary antibiotics, flavorings, preservatives, food additives and especially nitrates, nitrates are known for causing inflammation… plus SALT is a major cause of inflammation.
Also stay away from high fat foods that can cause uric acid build up, this will start the process of spondylosis and inflammation… and dairy products can also start the inflammation process. Remember to eat none GMO/organic foods and lots of veggies, water, and fish.
